Founded in 2024 by Lucy Cichon, Consider It Done Task Services LLC is dedicated to offering care navigation and personal task assistance tailored specifically for older adults. Serving the local community with pride, Consider It Done is committed to providing essential supportive services.

Lucy's roots are firmly planted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she spent her entire life until 2021 when she and her husband, Mark, made the decision to relocate to Waynesville, NC, becoming full-time residents. Their blended family includes five grown children, and they recently welcomed their first grandchild into their lives. At home, they share their space with a cherished German shepherd and a beloved senior dog they adopted.

Outside of work, Lucy finds joy in various hobbies and community involvement. She has a passion for travel, cooking, gardening, hiking, reading, and playing pickleball. Her dedication extends beyond personal interests to meaningful volunteer work, serving as a board member for KARE, Inc. (Kid's Advocacy Resource Effort), representing an advisory board role for Senior Oral-Health Services, and actively supporting Sarge's Animal Rescue through volunteering efforts.

Lucy's rich background, personal experiences, and commitment to community service make her a trusted and compassionate leader in providing essential support and care services through Consider It Done.

Lucy brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her career, centered around leadership, coaching, and caregiving. Her journey began in healthcare, where she specialized in respiratory therapy and pulmonary sleep medicine at a university hospital and a medical device manufacturer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Transitioning into entrepreneurship, Lucy became the owner and CEO of two in-home senior care franchises, a role she fulfilled for nearly 17 years. Motivated by personal experience caring for her mother with Alzheimer's disease over 15 years, Lucy's passion for supporting family caregivers became her mission. Under her leadership, hundreds of caregivers provided comprehensive elder care services, encompassing home management, everyday tasks, local transportation, personal care, and support for activities of daily living to older and disabled adults in their homes.

Lucy's commitment to professional development is evident through her certifications as a Certified Senior Advisor for seven years and her role as a Transitions Coach for three years. She actively educated family caregivers through monthly classes focused on managing behaviors and encouraging engagement for individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Lucy also initiated a Dementia Friendly Business Program and was involved in local Alzheimer's Association activities in Pittsburgh, PA. Her dedication extended to volunteering with aging organizations such as LIFE Pittsburgh (PACE) and the Southwestern Pennsylvania Partnership for Aging.

With her extensive background and expertise, Lucy is well-equipped as an aging care expert to provide invaluable assistance to her clients, whether they require short-term support or long-term care solutions. Her compassionate approach and breadth of knowledge make her a trusted advocate and resource for families navigating the complexities of elder care.
